Prasanna Venkatesan, popularly known as Prasanna, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Tamil cinema and has also appeared in selected Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films.
He achieved early success with Five Star (2002), produced by Mani Ratnam. Some of his notable films include Azhagiya Theeye (2004), Kasthuri Maan (2005), Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005), Cheena Thaana 001 (2007), and Anjathe (2008). In addition to lead roles, Prasanna has successfully portrayed villainous and character-driven roles across a diverse range of films. His film Achchamundu! Achchamundu! received international recognition and was screened at several film festivals worldwide.
Beyond his successful acting career, Actor Prasanna is set to begin his aviation journey towards obtaining his Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) through Ekas Flight Academy. His training pathway will include advanced flying qualifications such as Multi-Engine Rating (Twin-Engine Training) and Instrument Rating (IR), marking an exciting new chapter in his professional journey.
